SWANTON, Ohio - Swanton Welding Company is hosting an Open House & Job Fair on Wednesday, May 17 from 3:00-7:00 pm. The free event will tour their Swanton Ohio facility in six stops, highlighting the major areas of operation. In addition to refreshments, prizes, and a raffle, job applications will be accepted on site.

Swanton Welding delivers excellence with every project.  They specialize in custom metal fabrication and structural steel fabrication serving customers in all industries across the globe.  The Swanton Welding team is dedicated to building strong customer relationships by continuing to exceed expectations and delivering a premium product.

Norm E. Zeiter, President and CEO, hopes to continue that dedication by bringing in new recruits.

“Our growth is fueled by our fantastic customers and outstanding workforce.  We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill numerous positions,” said Zeiter.

For more than 60 years, Swanton Welding has continued to experience growth. The once small welding shop has expanded and grown into one of the largest metal fabricators in the midwest.  With the increasing demand for custom projects, the Swanton Welding team has immediate openings to join their dynamic team.

Nick Nijakowksi, Certified Welding Inspector, joined the Swanton Welding family right after graduating high school.

“My early years at Swanton Welding helped me gain the experience I needed to become the custom fabricator, welder, and Certified Welding Inspector that I am today.  Passing down this knowledge to the next group of welders here at Swanton Welding Co. is a vital part of continuing the growth of our company and our workforce.  If I can find that passion in a welder to weld better, to try harder, to use that weld as a signature of quality, I am making a difference."
